Adhering to the Ontario Ministry of Labour’s highest standards, our program ensures compliance with all relevant legislative requirements. With a strong emphasis on practical learning, Kore Training provides a dynamic and engaging experience that prepares participants for real-world scenarios and promotes a culture of safety in the workplace.

Program Overview
Our Working at Heights Training program combines theory and hands-on exercises. Gain a comprehensive understanding of safety concepts, regulations, and best practices. Learn to identify hazards, prevent falls, and work safely at heights. Receive all necessary training and resources to succeed.

Legislative Knowledge:
Participants will familiarize themselves with the relevant legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Construction Projects Regulation (O. Reg. 213/91), and the requirements outlined in the Working at Heights training standard.

Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment:
Individuals will learn to identify common hazards associated with working at heights and develop risk assessment skills to determine the appropriate control measures required to mitigate those risks.

Fall Prevention and Protection Systems:
Participants will understand the importance of fall prevention measures and gain practical knowledge of various fall protection systems, including personal fall arrest systems (PFAS), guardrails, safety nets, and work positioning systems.

Equipment Inspection and Proper Use:
Individuals will learn how to inspect, maintain, and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection equipment, including harnesses, lanyards, connectors, and anchor points.

Rescue Planning and Emergency Procedures: The training will cover rescue planning strategies and emergency response procedures to ensure that participants are well-prepared to handle potential accidents or emergencies at heights.

Certification
Upon completing the Working at Heights training program, participants will receive a certificate valid for three years. The Ontario Ministry of Labour recognizes this certification and meets the requirements of both employers and regulatory bodies.

There is a custom charge for tailored programming, with a consultation fee of $600 applicable.
