Kayla is the founder and CEO of Kore Training, a women-owned Canadian health and safety company built on a decade of experience and passion for frontline care. A dedicated mother of three and an award-winning entrepreneur, Kayla launched Kore Training to modernize how communities access CPR, first aid, and workplace safety education.
Drawing from her background as a certified Advanced Emergency Medical Assistant and her hands-on experience as a paramedic, Kayla blends real-world expertise with engaging, people-first instruction. Influenced by her entrepreneurial father and nurtured by her mother’s resilience, she has built Kore Training into a company that prioritizes compassion, compliance, and community.
With the unwavering support of her husband, Kayla continues to drive innovation in the health and safety sector — aiming to transform how organizations prepare for emergencies, protect their people, and promote safer futures.

With a strong background in leadership, team building, and sales strategy, Robert O’Hearn brings a dynamic and results-driven approach to Kore Training. As Director of Business Development, Robert leads with a passion for connecting people and organizations to life-saving safety solutions. He plays a key role in expanding Kore Training’s partnerships across Canada, driving growth through strategic relationships, innovative programming, and a commitment to community impact.
