Kore Training Emergency first aid training is typically recommended for individuals who may need to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community but do not require the comprehensive training provided within the Standard First Aid Certification.

Emergency first aid covers various topics, including preparing to respond, understanding the EMS system, surveying the scene for safety, addressing airway emergencies, treating breathing and circulation emergencies including heart attacks.

We offer different CPR options to complement our Emergency First Aid Training:

CPR-A:
Ideal for individuals who have already taken workplace CPR-C and now need First Aid certification. This course combines a quick CPR refresher with First Aid training. Whether you’re a stay-at-home parent, caregiver, older sibling, or babysitter, this course will provide the credentials
needed for all workplaces where CPR-C is taken separately and Standard First Aid isn’t required.

CPR-C:
This course covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including responding to breathing, airway and circulation emergencies for adults, children and infants. This course is ideal for people who want to be prepared for the unexpected. This course will provide you with the required level of CPR training for all workplaces outside of healthcare.

BLS:
Formerly known as HCP, Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for those working in the healthcare industry. This course gives healthcare providers and professional first responders the ability to ensure they are equipped with the most up-to-date and relevant skills needed to provide lifesaving care to those in need.

Enroll in our Emergency First Aid & CPR Training to enhance your ability to respond effectively in emergencies. Our knowledgeable instructors are ready to guide you through training, empowering you with the skills and certifications needed to make a difference.

This course meets the WSIB standards and is only taught in person (8 hours). Certification lasts for three years and then the Recertification course must be completed to remain compliant per the providence of Ontario (without lapse).
